1. Inspector Gadget's Talker
- gadget.ewtoo.org
- Welcome To Inspector Gadget's Talker.
- Inspector Gadget is a Character of DiC Entertainment, this.
- About Gadget's talker.
- Gadget's talker is a 24-hour multi-user chat program based on sensi-summink (ew-too) code which attempts to play out the Inspector Gadget theme.
- The staff of Inspector Gadget's talker all take on names of the main characters of the cartoon, including the names of several M. ... This talker is gradually transforming it's command structure to the 'go-go-gadget' form. Users of the talker are also encouraged to play out the Inspector Gadget theme, but it is not a requirement to using the talker. Everyone is welcome on this talker, and you do not necesarily have to know or be a fan of Inspector Gadget in order to use it, you only need a desire to have fun and meet new people.

2. PSXNATION: Run by a crack team of hardcore gamers.
- Gadget Racers.
- But that's in the past, and currently Takara's just another 'me too' developer churning out generic PlayStation 2 titles like Infogrames' "Real Pool" and, courtesy of Conspiracy Entertainment, a new racing title called "Gadget Racers". Known as "Chro Q" in its native Japan and part of a long-running series that never made it to America, "Gadget Racers" can be best summarized as the "Gran Turismo 3" of fictitious Super Deformed little cars. ...
- Each individual player's tolerance of some pretty generic single and multiplayer modes, in which colorful and cute SD cars are the stars of the show, will determine whether "Gadget Racers" is even worthy of been given a chance as a rental. ... I'm not saying there isn't lots of fun stuff to do, unlock, tweak and experience for those that are willing to overlook the oddity that is having racing depth attached to the dorky-looking "Gadget Racers" universe. ...
- Takara obviously went with quantity over quality, so most of the "Gadget Racers" circuits share a lot of virtual real state (ala "Ridge Racer V") and are quite a few floors below the Penthouse of creatively-designed racing levels seen in the likes of "Beetle Adventure Racing" (Nintendo 64). Still, with these many racing environments and vehicles to mix-and-match, "Gadget Racers" is custom-made for the hardcore PS2 otaku racing freak out there that gets easily bored or distracted.
- How about some game modes to go with these much stuff to do? Single-player modes in "Gadget Racers" include Grand Prix (sub-divided into Country GP, Global GP and High Grade GP), Sprint (Beginner, Intermediate, Upper), Endurance (five consecutive tracks with an ever-diminishing car that doesn't take damage too well), Engine Regulation (Light/Middle/Heavy Class), Off-Road Regulation (Dirt Mini, Dirt Big and Dirt HG), Body Type Regulation (eight different styles to choose from), Parts Regulation (only vehicles outfitted with a specific part are allowed to compete) and Duel (one-on-one race against a CPU-controlled opponent).
- that's 15 gameplay modes folks! Some are better than others of course, but they'd all go to waste if Takara had sacrificed maneuverability or control in order to get this much programming code into "Gadget Racers". ... Since there are no cartoony power-ups to pick on the roads and the tuning of the cars takes place before and/or after every race, Takara made the right decision by keeping the controls of the game simple, inobtrusive and very much in tune with the simulation shoes the programmers were trying to get "Gadget Racers" to fit into. ...
- The SD cars that are the bread and butter of "Gadget Racers" look just too weird and ridiculous for me to feel comfortable recommending this to anyone but those that have been importing "Chro Q" racers from Japan since they first appeared five years ago on PSOne and the Sega Saturn. Even if the game didn't have dopey SD cars as its main attraction, the special effects used to simulate fog, water and other elements in "Gadget Racers" (like those inside tunnels) are definitely closer to the appearance of first-generation software from the Dreamcast era than cutting-edge PS2 titles.
- The intro song in "Gadget Racers" has got to be one of the most grating and annoying J-pop songs with lyrics to ever be passed as worthy of being part of an intro movie (which kinda apes the intro of Namco's "Ridge Racer Type 4" with a slogan that reads 'Welcome to the World of Gadget Racers'). ...
- For every "Bangai-O" though, Conspiracy is leaving us stuck with either a "Stretch Panic" or a "Gadget Racers": fun little diversions that were meant more for rental amusement than for full-price consumption.
